Sometimes you just need a big ass truck. And sometimes you need to make it a little bigger. So that’s what we did with this 2026 Ford F450 Super Duty Platinum. Allow me to expand.

We started off with installing a Carli 2.5″ leveling kit. When it comes to ride quality for heavy duty trucks, Carli Suspension is at the top of that pile. They use magic and wizardry and shit to provide the best possible ride for a big ass truck. We added the Carli heavy duty truck bar as well to improve the steering and suspension geometry because math required it.

Then we put wheels and tires on it. We went with the 22″ DDC Aftermath to get this unit sitting properly. DDC Wheels bolt straight up so one may forgo the abysmal situation of dealing with wheel adaptors because the SUCK. They are also built to accommodate 12.50″ wide tires so a spacer isn’t involved in the rear either. Therefore we went with the Toyo Open Country MT. 37 inches tall of course. Why? Because it looks cool.

And to wrap this thing up we put a Retrax retractable bed cover on this bad boy. You’ll have to take my word for it because I didn’t get a picture. This thing has a mile long bed and Retrax checks all the boxes in terms of function, security and dissuading people from taking your shit. So there ya go.
