I’m gonna go ahead and make an admission. I like the two door Wranglers. There, I said it. They just have an almost vintage appeal with their combination of compactness, versatility and capability. It just looks cool man.

We treated this fella to the 2.5″ Superlift Suspension lift kit. This kit included dual rate coil springs and the upgraded Fox Shocks front and rear. And we added the adjustable front track bar to help center up that front axle and to give the steering a bit more ruggedness. This thing rides pretty plush and looks great while doing it.

Wheels and tire consisted of the Black Rhino Abrams in 17×9.5 with -18 offset and the matte gunmetal finish. They look tough as hell. The wheels are wrapped in the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT in a 35×12.50r17. Not only are they rated for 50,000 miles, they are also severe snow rated which means they can basically go over a snow covered mountain with zero point zero issues.

We mixed up the bumper situation a bit. Since this is a Jeep then that’s more than acceptable. From Fab Fours we have their narrow winch mount front bumper with the prerunner bar. We’ve done this bumper many times and it looks great every time. We stuck the Rough Country 9500 pound winch with synthetic line on that bad boy to make this unit even more capable.

The rear bumper is from Rugged Ridge and is the swing out style that incorporates the factory rear door. This makes it much more simple to operate and eliminates stupid multiple handles.
