On today’s episode of What Cool S#!+ Have We Been Working On, we have a 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon in Cherry Poppin’ Red. It’s technically Firecracker Red but that’s not as funny, but I digress.
We spun the magic wheel of lift kits and somehow, almost unbelievably it landed on the Readylift 4″ Terrain Flex 4 arm lift kit with the tried and true Falcon shocks. Great Falcon shocks. The best Falcon shocks. These aren’t my words, this is just what I’ve been told. This kit comes with everything you need to make a Jeep not drive like a Jeep. New lower control arms front and rear to get literally (figuratively) all the caster. New front track bar to center the axle so it drives where you point it. Linear rated front coil springs to absolutely maximize the ride quality. Oh yeah, we installed a badass Falcon steering stabilizer to help control those massive 38″ tires, which we will talk about right meow.
Milestar Patagonia MT2 in a 38×13.50R17. That’s right, we went with some sidewall on this one to try to change things up. The goal here was capability and that is exactly what this tire is known for. And it can keep you warm on a chilly morning. Wait, that’s another kind of Patagonia. Whatever.
It got some new dancin’ shoes while she was here too. These wheels are from Dirty Life, but the way you have to say it in your head is to the cadence of the absolute banger from N’SYNC from 2001, Pop. You know what I’m talking about and it’s okay to have that song living rent free in your head twenty something years later. This wheel is the 9303 DT-1 simulated beadlock. I love this wheel but they need to hire a name guy, just sayin’. This is a 17×9 with -38 offset so the stance on this one is right with a capital R. Stuntin’ as the kids say perhaps. Flossin’ maybe? I have no idea, I’m old.
