A little goes a long way. This is especially true when what you start with takes you as far as the already legendary Jeep Gladiator. And then you go completely over the edge and put 20×12’s on it. Yeah, we went there. Came out better than I thought it would honestly. We’re talkin’ width here. You know what I’m saying. Just imagine what you could do with 12” of width. Would you be more popular? Absolutely. Would it be more difficult to navigate tight spaces? (bank drive thru’s) Yessir but with great power comes great responsibility. Will it get mud everywhere? You bet your ass but that’s part of the fun of having a Jeep. Find holes and get dirty. Because this rig needed to be capable and stylish we wrapped the Worx 819BM in 35×12.50 Milestar Patagonia MT’s. They are effective. They are quiet. They are tough. They will see you through to the end of your journey and on to the next one. To bring the nose of this rig up a smidge we went with a 1.5” leveling kit from Daystar. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you 1.5” goes a long way. And just in case you find yourself in over your head, this unit is equipped with the tried, tested and true Warn Evo 10-S electric recovery winch loaded in the factory steel front bumper. Why synthetic rope instead of steel cable you may be asking? First of all, the synthetic rope is considerably lighter. Second of all, the synthetic rope doesn’t store near as much energy as a steel cable so in the event of a failure you won’t have your head cut off, which is nice.
